Fairmont Residential provides specialist residential care for people with autism and a severe learning difficulty. The five care homes are currently located in Kidderminster, Stourbridge and Brierley Hill. All five services have an excellent staff ratio and have consistently been rated as “Good” by CQC. We are delighted to celebrate the recent promotions of some of our staff.

Employee Case Study: Anna Shannon recently celebrated 10 years at Fairmont

“I love working at Fairmont, above all because of the quality of life we offer all our Service Users. In that respect, we are not a standard care home. We offer our Service Users fantastic opportunities to access the community and enjoy a full life. I have been with Fairmont almost since the beginning and know the Service Users really well. No day is the same and it is very rewarding to see the difference we make to people’s lives. Since joining in 2008, I have been trained in TEACCH, Makaton, Autism, MAPA, and many others including completing my QCF 5 and Assessors Award with the company. Shortly after coming back from a year off for maternity leave I was promoted to Deputy Manager in 2016. In May 2018 I was promoted to Registered Manger, responsible for 2 sites. I particularly enjoy mentoring new members of staff and seeing them grow in confidence and skills.”

New Team of Deputies:

Emma Thomas, Hannah Marks and Laura Homer have all been with Fairmont for between 3 and 4 years. They have consistently shown their commitment to Fairmont and our Service Users, growing in knowledge and confidence. They are a fantastic addition to our management team.

We are always keen to hear from applicants who share our desire to deliver outstanding care.

Due to recent expansion we have a number of vacancies for both night care support work & day care support workers. Our standard week would be 39 hours over three long days, but we can also offer some part-time hours. Please send us an email telling us why you would like to join our team:  or call 01384 395 928
